At last we have a Digital Chess Clock with incremental and multiple time periods that's cheaper than analogues, in fact only a few pounds dearer than the most basic ones currently available from suppliers.

We expect them to quickly have a big impact on UK chess, their first tournament usage was last Saturday approx 150 were required, future events will see nearer 250 in use at a time.

Displaying seconds from the start e.g. h:mm:ss the ease of setting and robustness are just a few of the features.

This is wonderful news.

Can you get clocks shaped like racing cars, submarines or spaceships for the boys games.

The girls can have ones shaped like irons or rolling pins or pink clocks with a mirror on to do their make up.

Nothing to explain. I've always wanted a digital chess clock shaped like a spaceship.......can you do Fireball XL5?

Then I thought that is a bit selfish of me so I've given you an idea or two for the girls.

I put my posts on a time delay (using a modified digital clock) it appears I post in the early hours
when infact I am actually writing these posts around about 6pm when I'm having my tea.

Carl can we move this back to the General Forum, nobody reads the adverts.

Both boys and girls were more than happy with current design, easy of use and display so no plans to change it, the organisers are pleased just to have clocks never mind digitals with increments (making Board Stewarts' and Arbiter's jobs easier) especially as provided for free along with the sets and boards regardless of the numbers required.

"time delay" surely increments is more common in the UK, as for moving the thread, well I was hoping to have a serious debate on improving junior chess. Maybe we can even get people to read the adverts as well.

You could have Steve Zodiac pooping up out of the cockpit 'you lose sucker' when a player exceeds their time.

How about a clear glass model that when player gets down to their last 5 minutes the whole clock
starts brightly flashing to attract the attention of Arbiters.

Proof nobody reads the adverts because nobody has happened along to tear me
a new ass for my iron, rolling pin and pink clocks with make up mirrors idea.

In a three way contest with the incumbent and Gazza, I would certainly urge my federation to support him. I may even have some pull there.

I expect Geoff would fall at the first fence because his own federation would veto him.

When I do eventually run FIDE I'll bring back descriptive notation.

Also how about a safety feature. A built in smoke detector which sets off an
alarm should the playing hall catch on fire.

Presumably that would be the Sedgwick edition?
