We had been following the tournament at
viewtopic.php?f=31&t=14150

The opinion in that thread was that the last round opponent didn't have a high enough rating for the GM Norm, but the win took the live rating above 2500.

He will have many other chances and looks well on track to pick up the GM title, give it maybe another 12-18 months.
