When they refer to Little Bolton, Scotland, don't they really meant Little Scotland, Bolton? That's consistent with a playing history which includes Congresses in the North West and playing in the Manticores squad.

If it is the same guy, then Mike played for Crusaders (Blackburn) and for 1 season (?) for the Manticores, so he could have lived in Blackrod
