The Irish team is composed of three teenagers (one of whom has gained about 100 rating points this year in Hungarian tournaments) and Stephen who lives in France. He has three IM norms but never yet managed to get his rating to 2400. Hopefully he can get some good results and start building up his rating again.34. She's on the ECF rating site as Battersea and on the FIDE site as previously of Russia, but not active in OTB chess for many years.

You can find a chess podcast on google from May 2021, where she explains, to play for England is for her more realistic than play for Russia , because in Russia she is seed 5000 among men and 100 among women. But still it is only estimate . She speaks, she didn't play chess more than 20 years.

If you check her online results , she plaid online British Qualifications and Championshs - she archieved in this tournaments Rp 1737 ( Arora T. 1889) , Rp 1541 ( Oh J.2531, Arora T.2298 ), Rp 1921 ( Dicen I. 1998 ) , Rp 1921 ( Pert N.2083), Rp 1531 ( Arora P. 2470 ). In the brackets you can find results of the best English under 14 players in this tournaments .

On the contrary, on the podcast she stated her connection to the UK was visiting friends in London. Her Twitter feed lists her residence as Ekaterinburg. If that's true I agree, that someone who is not English, and not living in England should not play for England.
Her Instagram feed also shows predominantly Russia based pre Covid.
