There was an issue with streaming the live boards today, but we will try to get that resolved for tomorrow's round.LawrenceCooper wrote: ↑Sun Oct 16, 2022 2:55 pmI'm guessing that there a small number of live boards but does anyone have any clues on where I might find them online?

Re: 46th Guernsey International Chess Festival
There have been technical issues... It seems boards 1-4 gave up at much the same time, and they are all linked, so if they fix one, all will be ok. So we hope a techical expert can fix it. I suspect yesterday there was limited time to set up everything.
But now Chessresults.com seems to be somewhat out of date as well.

Round 2 results should now be nearly complete.

No criticism intended. I know the organizers are working hard and the venue staff are keeping tea/coffee replenished regularly.
15 players are on 2/2. A few of the regular players are missing and we hope they are OK. But also so far I have seen three previous players, who have come over for a holiday, not to play.

A bit odd as Mark was actually on board 19.

Re: 46th Guernsey International Chess Festival
There were some teething problems with the live boards, mainly due to the inexperience of the new team. I have the impression that things have improved as the week has gone on.
For the record Mark Page drew with White against Eric Eedle in Round 3.
There are four live boards on a stage for Boards 1 - 4 and four down one side of the hall, for Boards 5, 19, 33 and 47. This explains Mark Page's appearance on a live board in Round 3.
It also explains my appearance on a live board today in Round 6. I only realised when I looked at the board about 30 seconds before the start of play, so I had no opportunity to alert the Forum by posting in this thread. I hope that everyone watched the game nonetheless.
Tomorrow, Saturday 22nd October, Round 7 starts at 0930.
