Ghasi is now on 5.5/8 , last 3 rounds 1 v Vidit, 0.5 v Tomashevsky and 1 v van Foreest!

Andreikin v Ghasi coming up very shortly on Board 9.....

Ameet finishes the day on 6.5/12 after a loss to Arjun Erigaisi. In the women's event Lan Yao is on 4/9.

Overall, Hikaru leads by a point with 10/12 ahead of Carlsen, Dubov, Giri, Martirosyan & Rapport.

Gunina & Shuvalova lead the women's event with 7.5/9.

I had sympathy for Niemann for the end of his game in round 16, Q+2 vs Q, where his opponent found a mate in 2...

Arbiters seem hard to find, at least compared to NRK cameras crews. If anyone saw the Adly-Averin dispute there were cameras and microphones surrounding the board long before any arbiters appeared.
