Has a nice easy final game against GM Lubomir Ftacnik, who broke into the world's top 20 at his peak.

Re: European Seniors Champs in ACQUI TERME
This event has been under discussion in the Seniors section of the Forum.
Terry has indeed done well, with two important wins in a row to catch the leader.
The tournaments are NOT in Assisi; the venue is Acqui Terme.
Moreover, I would like to point out that John Nunn (though half a point behind) still has a mathematical chance of winning while Stephen Dishman is co-leader in the 50+ tournament and so very good luck to them in the final round also!

Re: ÉU Seniors Chmps in Assisi
Quite confused by the regularity of venues used within Italy . No offence meant to John or Stephen-indeed John has won the event on Tiebreak-abd Terry despite a great effort had just missed a medal on tiebreak having finished first equal on pts 7/9-a fabulous effort by him. Abd a gréât World ÉCU double by John Nunn.
Another great effort by Stephen too in the youngsters event!!
