European Individual 2010

The 2010 European Individual starts tomorrow in Rijeka Croatia. There are 420 players in the mens event including English Grandmasters Mickey Adams, David Howell and Keith Arkell. Alan Tate from Scotland and Peter Hayes from Ireland are playing and Ketevan Arakhamia-Grant plays in the womens event.

I believe there are 22 qualifying places for the world championship available; the strength of the tournament can be measured by the fact that David Howell is 80th seed!

Have you been able to view any of the mens games? The women's live feed is working for me but the mens isn't although the Adams game is on icc but no moves in the Arkell game there

All the DGT games were linked on the same server - it was NEVER going to cope with the load!

It's working but very gingerly. If you want to watch the top game of each group then it's okay but flicking between games is not proving very fruitful

Your need a lot of kit to broadcast something like that but I do blame the DGT people - the way their software works hinders people providing the hosting in my opinion
