Is her best live rating to date 2382 or a higher figure?

She played in the Bundesliga at the weekend so her live rating may be higher than her October one: https://en.chessbase.com/post/bodhabna- ... bundesliga

These results gain her 7 points according to my calculations.

Is there anything superior to

apart from manual calculation?

2700 just piggybacks off FIDE monthly calculations and picks up random results in between. For elite players it is generally reliable, although errors do happen. Otherwise I don't see the point.

If FIDE copied the ECF and published weekly or daily expected rating changes based on results received and processed, sites like 2700chess.com could become redundant.

Thanks ro all. However, I do have a nagging half memory that in spring 2026 when she was still K=40, that she might have got to the 2390s before losing her final two rounds at Cannes and then going on a form slump. If so, that would significantly improve her chances at Budva this weekend.

Could someone kindly check that? I need the info by tomorrow afternoon for Guardian publication.

Her last tournament with a k factor of 40 was in Cannes in March. In case anyone does want to check then this is the link to her FIDE profile:
https://ratings.fide.com/profile/497592/calculations

She lost 14 points losing her last two games in Cannes. Her published rating after that was 2366 so she would have been around 2380 without those games.

They did try that, without telling QC, and quite predictably there was confusion and disappointment among players who believed erroneously that they had achieved rating targets for titles. The foolish experiment was abandoned.

Alternatively:

Published rating on 1 Feb - 2163
Points gained in February - 105.2 (from events completed in February)
Cannes (excluding last 2 rounds) - 112.4

Live rating after 7 rounds at Cannes - 2380.6

Which means that just 0.5 points more at one of the three events she started in February would have been enough to get her live rating just over 2400.

She is playing in the Bundesliga now? Is that another age record or has she been playing there for years without me noticing?

I think that last weekend was her debut.
