The English challenge includes GMs David Howell, Mark Hebden, Simon Williams, Danny Gormally and Aaron Summerscale as well as IMs Richard Pert and Thomas Rendle who both have 1 GM norm.
England’s leading scorer at the 2010 Olympiad, 22 year old Sarah Hegarty, also plays as do two of our leading Under 21 girls, 18 year old Lateefah Messam-Sparks and 14 year old Amy Hoare.
There are also a number of talented England juniors playing including Yang-Fan Zhou, Peter Williams, Ravi Haria and Tarun Malhotra.
