It's been a while but Borislav Ivanov is back in the news. The man from Blagoevgrad was arrested by police for illegally selling driver's licenses online. The attached link, following a few dulcet tones from Adele and some weirdo by a road sign, shows him trying to avoid the questions of a journalist before being taken away by the police. It's in Bulgarian but you don't need a translator to realise what's going on.

A bit more to this unfolding story. Ivanov, the "best chess player in the world" faces a possible 8 years in prison for the counterfeiting driving licence charges and there are further charges coming of producing fake university diplomas. Caught red-handed in the local post office, Ivanov was charging a 1000 Euros for a fake licence and was doing it under the fake name "Rusev". The TV station that went after him say they are coming back for Danailov and the Bulgarian Chess Federation.
