anyone know how long the FIDE site will be down?
http://ratings.fide.com/ has not been operative all weekend, but it might just be my ancient laptop. It makes it impossible to check ratings and submitted events - does it also prevent submission of events by the IROs?

It's certainly been down all weekend, I did wonder if they were doing an update but the length of time suggests not. Even if this prevents IRO submissions in the short term, if the problem persists then I'm sure that FIDE would accept rating files by e-mail. No idea. The rating server is down too, so no rating files can currently be uploaded.
