The second letter sent in September 2016

Silvio Danailov to ECU President

Clear... if you are refusing second time a peace, It looks like the presidency does confuse your head. No offer will be anymore. By the way you never differ with natural intelligence, otherwise you would never work as a servant for thick Greek!
Ok, now I've a clear conscience , did everything to avoid possible war. Please, only don't take offense, as English man say: "Nothing personal , just business and politics"

Ok..
How Napoleon said: À la guerre com à la guerre
It will be fun, I'm going to have fun, not sure for you :)

Difficult to know.

I had noticed Danailov being especially bellicose on twitter. I can't really work out why. Is there an election coming up I've missed?

This was the email sent by Silvio Danailov - actually two of them .
One letter was sent in August and last one in September 2016 !
All delegates at ECU conference in Baku including the one from England got those letters first .
So it is genuine !
I have a lot of more material for the start this is from the official Bulgarian Ministry for Sport
It is on Bulgarian but can be translated with two clicks !

I will inform you more in next few days as I am following all developments !

Perhaps Andy Howie can shed some light on this.

Or Malcolm for that matter.

Dubious behaviour in national chess federations, Who would have thought it?

Thank you !

Now we do not know who voted against or for in Baku regarding Danailov Suspension on 18 months term. The decision was supported by 37 of the members of the management; 11 voted against.

https://chessdailynews.com/danailov-sus ... -from-ecu/

Bulgarian Chess Federation Expelled From European Chess Union

The Bulgarian Chess Federation has been expelled from the European Chess Union during a meeting in Baku.

Danailov is suspended for a period of 18 months from holding any office or position within FIDE, as well as from participating in any meeting of FIDE as delegate or in any other capacity. The reference to FIDE herein includes its member federations (other than the Bulgarian Chess Federation), continental associations and other affiliated international organisations.

Danailov was present in Hotel Fairmont in Baku, but he didn’t appear before the Commission for oral hearing.

The final decision will be out soon as CAS case is ongoing now .

Montenegro case

Here is how all this started and I think that this is very important

Vladimir Sakotic the member of the ECU Board in time of Danailov Presidency was involved in many dodgy money transactions .

For a start this article will explain the scale of corruption

Sorry for two posts I just wanted to separate those two articles

If anyone is following this saga, the ECU Board have recently held a meeting and have announced that they are trying to initiate action against the mysterious Delaware company ECU LLC.

Silvio Danailov resigned as President of Bulgarian Chess Federation .

What is new ?

The CAS court case was very bad for Silvio .
Silvio Danailov attacked ex Minister for Sport Mr Krasen Kralev accusing him for corruption .
Mr Kralev is new Minister for Sport in Bulgaria !
Bulgarian chess federation owe 200 000 euros to Minister for Sport they didnt pay a cent since

Now when we all knew that huge corruption is going on in ECU whey ECF gave their vote to him ?

I doubt the ECF or English chess players had much enthusiasm for either candidate. "None of the above", who wins ECF elections from time to time was not on the ballot
