It's not, I was referring to my own grade which is 140ish, Jack is an IM of course.

I rather thought Mark would have tried 17 Ng3 but he presumably thought that there were no winning chances after 17.. Qf4. Brave to try as White when you imagine Black would grab a draw.

I thought black would be better after Qf4 in those sort of positions, with the queens coming off. The white bishop has little scope and a black knight on f4 would be well placed.
I am rooting for Mark, but I can see a black win in this game.

Yes. Not so easy for Mark now his attack seems to have fizzled out. 7/7 would be an amazing score for Zhao.

It looks that way. Black must feel he is a bit better, but why risk it.

Keith is winning though, I think. I guess Nxf4 was a surprise

Move 59 - It looks like Keith just needs to play ...h5-h4-h3 and then ...Rg2 and after White plays Rh7 play ...h2 when d1=Q+ followed by Rg1+ should win.

Well, it's not as easy as that - white's going to keep the rook on the h-file as much as possible.

Were it not for white's pawn on b2, black would have an easy win here - ...Rh1, forcing Kxd2 h2, and then there's no defence to ...Ra1 with the old skewer trick. But while the pawn stays there, Keith has to try other things.

Hmmm. 63.Kd1 Kd5 64.Kc2 Ke5 65.Kd1 Kf5 66.Kc2 Kg5 67.Rh8 Kg4 68.Rg8+ Kf3 69.Rh8 Ke2 70.Re8+ Kf1 looks winning for black. I don't know if white has an improvement in there somewhere.

(It's amazing how few of the pieces on the board can reasonably move anywhere.)

69...Rh1 70.Kxd2 h2 71.Rh3 Kg2 wins, yesno?

EDIT: No, checking on Nalimov, 70...h2?? would lose to 71.Re2! But 70...Kg2 wins.
