Does anyone know how the 3D stuff is going?

It's not (and I would be getting it free as a Worldchess columnist - glad I didn't pay!)

Isn't this the sort of thing Bobby Fischer used to win with Black?

Well, fell free to continue here, or start another one if you prefer :)
Would one for every game be too confusing?
We have had single threads for previous WC matches and that is the best way of doing it IMO.

Not Carlsen's first Trompovsky (he has beaten Kramnik with it) but, I believe, the first Trompovsky in a World Championship.

Interesting that Stockfish prefers the knight to the bishop, though rightly, I think.

Finally it is working now. (It may have been a few minutes ago but I was watching the soccer.)

At half-time first I got the regular video with Polgar commentary (low quality video) then I switched to the "3D" and lost the sound feed. Actually I prefer that as I can listen to the chess24 commentators instead.

I don't think I've heard Judit commentating - is she on her own? interesting?

England winning easy but I find Judit a tad annoying.

I am listening to Van Kampen & Hansen and they are not too bad.
I am waiting for Svidler in a few days - that'll be entertaining.
I think the combo Svidler/Gustafsson is probably one of the best out there I think
