My money is on Short for that one. No English players at all in the Open so far which is surprising. Indian GMs make up the top 3 seeds.

Quite a few of the Indians playing there were also playing in Douglas last week.

Short wins the last game with Black for a 3-1 triumph overall.

A genuinely impressive achievement, it does seem to confirm Hou has hit a bit of a "wall" recently however.

It is a 6 game match.
