Radjabov (3.5) v Karjakin (4)

So at least one player must get 5.5 or 6, and then there is a possible large tie for second or third place on 5 points.
Quite intrigued by this one. Normally I'd expect the top game to be drawn pretty quickly and then they'd wait to see what happened elsewhere, and I'd still think that was more likely than not, since I don't think Mamedyarov will risk losing if he doesn't have to. But Topalov might mix it up a bit.

So much for that.

Kramnik was the only last round winner. Thus it finishes:
Mamedyarov 5.5/9 wins for the second year in succession;
Kramnik, So and Topalov 5 (Veselin's best result in a while?);
Karkjakin, Wojtaszek and Adams 4.5;
Radjabov 4;
Eljanov and Harikrishna 3.5

Sad ending for Eljanov who was on the brink of leading with 3/3. He should have won that one and all.

Yes, that's quite a collapse even from him.
