Peter Doggers report. Wojtaszek with a half point lead going into the last round, it would be his first super tournament win, Kramnik still last and the draw percentage now up to 83.3%. Indeed Nisipeanu has drawn his last 13 games in Dortmund.

Draw stats will need a sharp revision after the final round (in play, as I write).

Fedoseev has won already after Wang Yue presumably walked away from a quasi-zugzwang position rather than be squashed flat. MVL is trouncing Andreikin. And Wojtaszek is about to end Nisipeanu's long run.

Only Kramnik-Bluebaum is given level though Vlad is a double exchange down (move 27)- leaving a position barely comprehensible to my innocent eyes. Mind you, Bluebaum has vile practical problems to solve. And - later edit - has failed! Great win by Kramnik. I understood just about none of it!

Interesting last round Chess24 report which features problems in Polish chess circles, a lonely but superb Kramnik win and Jan Gustaffson's new book How to Win at Chess when a Rook Up.
