I don't suppose there's any public news on where in London the World Championship match might take place?
This is probably worth a thread in itself but anyway:
A venue where the world leading (?) internet start-ups are (East London?). And insurance companies?
Top of the Shard.
Olympic Stadium, Stratford (Home of West Ham). They will be in the championship & have to play all games behind closed doors. No home matches in November. Magnus likes his football & West Ham's colours are close to Barcelona's.
Kensington Palace Gardens Hotel. Prince Harry and William reveal always have been interested in chess since their mother watched the World Chess Championship in 1993.
Forget about Strand and that area in November. There are plenty of November events already on that will not be changed.
Citadines Hotel in conjunction with the Plough.
Zero chance of Olympia (already booked).
Maybe Sir Tim Rice has a spare theatre.
There may well be a vacant Russian Embassy (or sub-embassy). Am getting information from schools that a lot of Russian parents and their children are no longer in Westminster and Kensington.
