Can anyone on the ground in Jersey advise what's going on - has Matthew's round 9 opponent showed up? (Live board suggests not...)

Re: Jersey Polar Capital 2018
Update via email from Adam Raoof - Matthew's opponent is on the way (sounds like confusion over earlier start time for the final round). Something of a relief....Can anyone on the ground in Jersey advise what's going on - has Matthew's round 9 opponent showed up? (Live board suggests not...)

Early stages for Matthew, although his opponent turning up an hour late helps. Alan Merry not better, but a sharp game at least.
Williams-Arkell looks like a game played by two GMs not used to an early start!

Looking good for Matthew. Alan looks likely to draw by perpetual, but still trying, Tiger has won against Speelman, so likely to win the event
EDIT: I think I jinxed l'Ami who blundered after playing well previously

Yes, thanks for that - another big day for Alan coming up! He has at least made his luck today, creating no end of complications.
