No problem. Anyone who's interested will probably find more active comment on the chess section at boards.ie, especially now they are confident that there will be ten live boards tomorrow.

There was a late upset tonight when Tom O'Gorman, who had been pressing for the best part of 90 moves, tried one time too many to avoid a threefold repetition in a knight ending and missed a one-move shot that left him lost. Great credit to Stephen Moran who defended for 60 moves with his back to the wall, finding a lot of "only" moves, and took his chance in the seventh hour when it finally came.

At least it won't be all tears in the O'Gorman household because Tom's elder sister Alice won, and the biggest upset was probably Peter Carroll beating Henry Li.

Alex Lopez won a good game against Sam Collins to tie the lead.

Ten boards live today at http://view.livechesscloud.com/07aba672 ... f7ce92c47a

They are using DGT's own software so you click into the blue title bar to get a drop-down menu for selecting the game you want.

Something has gone wrong with board 4 so avoid that for now; maybe it will be fixed later.

LATER: Board 4 has been fixed. Sam Collins won and the moves make sense now. The other none games are still running.
