These have been announced in Malcolm's rag (where else?).
Open team
Adams, Howell, Jones, McShane, Pert (N) with Nunn as non-playing captain
Women's team
Houska, Ciuksyte, Kalaiyalahan, Maroroa, Head (Louise) with D'Costa as non-playing captain.
Both look plausible board orders.
So no real surprises and a decision to replace Nigel with Nick rather than someone who hasn't previously played in an Olympiad. Lousie qualifies as English Women's Champion, but could plausibly have been selected anyway.
The Welsh had a dispute over their Women's team which found its way to the FIDE Ethics Commission who ruled "nothing to do with us". It's also mentioned in the report on FIDE's most recent Board meeting.

I expect you would like to correct that.

The ECF site. Should have been announced there first, surely?Roger de Coverly wrote: ↑Tue Jul 24, 2018 10:30 pmThese have been announced in Malcolm's rag (where else?).
Do you mean this Roger, or is there anything which says any more than this?Roger de Coverly wrote: ↑Tue Jul 24, 2018 10:30 pm

As well as dealing with the suspension of a long standing FIDE President, the Ethics Commission also declined to intervene in a dispute over selection for the Welsh Women's team.

Thanks very much. I confess I don't find the FIDE site the easiest to navigate.

It's good to know I can always call the emergency services if my pizza doesn't get delivered on time
