To my mind that is very different from his having done something which would be an offence in almost any jurisdiction.
This isn't right though, is it? What Scheinberg and his fellows were charged with was a range of offences which would be offences in other jurisdictions. If you lie to a bank about the purpose of an account, or a transaction, in order to hide illegal activity, that's an offence in itself, and a serious one. The nature of the activity may be illegal in one jurisdiction and legal in another - that's for sure. But the deception is not.

The existence of this campaign is unknown to me. If it is in any forum posting or blog post written by me or anybody else, perhaps it could be drawn to my attention. Currently it appears to be better hidden from prying eyes than an offshore account.
