I'm new to this - why can't I find these results on "Chess Results" - nothing on the "NED" page - should I be looking elsewhere?!

Not everything is there, particularly where the arbiters are not using Swiss Manager to do the pairings. The alternative is to go through the official website.

I note that the two female players in the Challengers failed to win a single game between them.
(which is a bit sad, and something I can't remember happening before)

True, although seven draws against that opposition (even if their rating performance was below their own rating) is still respectable.
