I have found this OTB Event Going Ahead:

10th-11th October Queensland Womens and Girls Championship.
Bracken Ridge, Queensland, Australia.
All entrants must be a member of the Chess Association of Queensland.

Does anyone know of any OTB Events Going Ahead?

Looks like a nice part of the world, albeit not a seaside resort. I'd be tempted if I were eligible.
