Lancashire county association

Looking at the Obit for Mark Whitehead on the new Lancashire county chess website, I noticed this article:

Basically their bank account seems to have got frozen. Any progress on solving this yet?

If they do have to fold it really would seem like an awfully randomly way to end a very fine 150 years of history.

Presumably they'd promptly reincarnate of course - any idea how procedurally annoying rejoining them to everything would be?

I sympathise there, as Barclays have been sending me multiple letters relating to my company account, insisting that I answer questions or they will freeze the account. Unfortunately, they ask exactly the same questions every time...
