As far as I can tell, we now have:

U100
Semi-finals Warks/Kent v Lancs; Essex/Staffs v Notts

U120
Quarter-finals E1 v S3 or Lincs; Notts v S2; S1 v E2; Lancs v Warks

Staffordshire have been offered the U100 M3 place and will reply by 20 March. If Staffs say no, Leics have indicated that they will take Staffs' place.

(Is there any chance that we could, one of these years, get a quarter-final against a team from M or S?)
W1 plays Suffolk in the quarter final

W2 plays Lincs in the preliminary, then the winners play Sussex

Other Minor quarters are a better fit geographically - Cambs v Leics and Notts v Essex/Norfolk

Do we know who W1 and W2 are yet?

W1 is certainly Somerset, seeing as we beat everyone except Devon, and Devon don't apply for places in the Minor Counties. Not sure who else from WECU has actually entered.

I'd assumed from WECU that Cornwall, Hants & Glos were possibles for W2?

*looks at results*

It'll be Cornwall then, assuming Hampshire have continued their run of defaulting all their matches.

Cornwall v Lincs, long journey to a neutral venue then

Hampshire withdrew at the same time as defaulting against Somerset.

That hasn't stopped Hampshire getting a place in the national stage of the U140 though, according to the draw on the SCCU website.

I suppose that's what happens if nobody else is interested in putting an U-140 team in.

All draws are provisional until 31st March. If nominations not taken up where a preliminary match exists I suspect a redraw. Hopefully we will hear shortly. Little time for seeking a change of date & or venue on any preliminary match. Best wishes to all.

I understand that Sussex have declined SCCU nomination into the Minor Counties; Essex are now SCCU1.

The union controllers have long been aware that I am at a wedding in London tomorrow. I'd hoped to have the info all circulated by then but the last nominations are still filtering through. Therefore confirmation of the draw may await my return at the weekend although if I can do it sooner I will.

Just an update - all information has been sent to County Champions today although as I am away the ECF website and results server won't be updated until next week.
