I voted for Malcolm Tucker. I don't know who he is but I didn't like the other options.
I suspect the people and businesses of Barnard Castle would vote differently.

I'm surprised Jim Sillars of the SNP wasn't an option.

Vlad because there's a very good song written about him.

Nigel, because if necessary he could operate the balloon by speech alone.

Surely they are all full of hot air, so keep all of them.

Who initiated the poll? Does't say.

I'm intrigued by this thought...

I don't think so - I just voted (you can probably work out who for). (I would have voted for Jim had he been a candidate - I think he would make a good dinner guest.)

"I voted for Malcolm Tucker. I don't know who he is but I didn't like the other options."

Malcolm Tucker (played by Peter Capaldi) was a fictitious character in "The Thick of It", probably based on Alastair Campbell (I assume not the one above!). Tucker was a sort of mild-mannered version of Dominic Cummings.

John Upham initiated the poll.
I thought Adolf Hitler, Joseph Stalin and Donald Trump would be in the poll along with the now former SNP MP who broke the Covid rules.

Get your votes in before it closes.
How do you set up a poll?
Perhaps we could have a poll on your favourite James Bond or Dorctor Who actor.
The Not Chess Category has been gradually drying up.

Doctor Who actor.
K-9 was my favourite. Of course he then went onto other roles with Jim Belushi.

Not Vlad, as he might impale the balloon, causing a rapid descent. Cummings might be an option, as his excellent eyesight would be useful for navigation. But it would be very tempting to have the opportunity to heave Farage out of the basket! :)
