New news channel is coming soon chaired by the former BBC presenter Andrew Neil and backed by Discovery.
There is now a placeholder for GB News on Freeview Channel 236.

I expect there will be some Freeview Channel Changes in January 2022 when BBC Three returns as a broadcast channel.
It was reported in the i Newspaper, on Tuesday 30th March 2021:
"BBC Three will return as a broadcast channel in January 2022 while BBC Two will become the home of arts and music. BBC Four will be converted into an archive channel showcasing past performances."

The following was reported on www.cordbusters.co.uk
22nd May: From Tuesday 25th May 2021 the Sony channels were replaced by the "Great!" name.
Channel 33 Great! Movies replaced Sony Movies.
Channel 41 Great! Movies Action replaced Sony Movies Action.
Channel 49 Great! TV replaced Sony Channel.
Channel 51 Great! Movies Classic replaced Sony Movies Classic.
1st June: Court TV which launched in February 2021 on Freeview Channel 89 was shutdown by the broadcaster.
It was removed from the TV Guide on 22nd June.
22nd May: From Tuesday 25th May 2021 the Sony channels were replaced by the "Great!" name.
Channel 33 Great! Movies replaced Sony Movies.
Channel 41 Great! Movies Action replaced Sony Movies Action.
Channel 49 Great! TV replaced Sony Channel.
Channel 51 Great! Movies Classic replaced Sony Movies Classic.

The following updates was reported on 2nd July www.cordbusters.co.uk
"Two freeview channels (Court TV (89)) and (365 Travel (251)) are gone for good. One (5Select (55)) is gone for some and there is some good news- a new channel, That's TV Gold (91), is launching soon with mysterious content."
"From June 22nd, Shopping Quarter (Channel 72) became available only on HD devices."
It was also posted on 9th July That's TV Gold was launching that evening. It is also available on Sky.
