The noted scientist and originator of the Gaia theory has just passed on at 103 years of age. He had some interesting views on the evolution of humankind (see https://www.newscientist.com/article/mg ... ys-future/ - you'll need to scroll about three-quarters of the way down). Wonder what the implications would be for the game of chess and its players?
