A Splendid and Prosperous 2026 to all!

I would like to wish all members of this place and all visitors to this place a most congenial and splendid 2026!
A slightly selfish wish would be to see greater engagement of the ECF with this place and its members.
Meanwhile, a huge thanks to Carl H. for continuing to feed his time, money and effort into the EC Forum meter.

Here's hoping 2026 is better in all sorts of ways, including chess wise (this year ending on a sombre note for obvious reasons)

The specific ban on ECF Directors and Officers posting here has gone. I didn't see the going of it, but it's not there now.
