I would die happy if I beat Wood Green in the Eastman Cup final - Richmond LL captain.

For a bet with me. If I agree to your requested odds, I will take your bet of £150 on England to win the WC.

In fact, I offer you 9/1. How's that?

Why would you offer me 9/1 when I could just say "ok £100" then lay it off on my betfair account for a guranteed score :)

Thats if i trust you, ive never heard of you/

Fair enough - I'm just trying to point out that the odds people have taken again to back England are far too low.

There is nothing to justify bookies offering 11/2 other than people are mug enough to take it.

IMO of course but the Betfair forum has often showed similar thinking.

Am I the only one here who watches sport for enjoyment, rather than having to bet on it?

Not at all. Not had a bet for over a year.

Watch a lot of sports but prefer the American stuff over all of them.

Unless they're leading 3 games to 0 and then 3-0 in Game 7 against the Flyers in Conference Semi Finals, presumably?

I'm a New York fan.

Mets, Giants, Rangers and Knicks.

NFL is my favourite sport - wish the season was longer.

Love MLB - watching Astros @ Brewers right now.
