I've only been befriended by Strangemen Rus, who has a profile picture of the Pope. Seems to be friends with Edna Welthorpe too.

I had an invite from somebody who had andrew martin's photo yesterday. I informed andrew and he replied by removing me! :?

yeah i think so, the fake guy was born 1984 but also resided in sandhurst. it's pathetic, whoever these people are... grow up!?

I'm getting about 10 friend requests a day from an assortment of this bunch of ''characters'' with their offensive names and/or profile pics. There seem to be some legitimate ''friends in common'' too . One of these friends in common (an American GM) has about 2700 friends, so maybe he and one or two others naively accept without looking very carefully. I'm guessing there must be a way to block receiving the same request again, though I don't waste much time familiarising myself with facebook technology.

I was getting several of these friend requests a day, then I deleted a certain CF from my friends list a couple of weeks ago and have only had one since, if that helps.

I only have one CF on my list, but that person has nothing to do with chess. :?
