English Chess Forum

The BBC News web site has a story about the digitisation of the British Newspaper Archive at http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-15924466

The archive may be keyword searched from http://www.britishnewspaperarchive.co.uk/

For example, you could search for "chess" if you so wished!

This is - of course - a great thing.

Still, I'm slightly nostalgic for the days I spent trudging up to Collindale to peruse the newspaper archive there.
