Apple are worse than Ilyumzhinov

I'm more than a bit upset with Apple at the moment, exploring my ipad a bit, I started to look into siri, the ipad's powerful voice recognition system, something like that with, bluetooth headphones, so you can hear and not affect your verbal output, could be the birth of something new, in other words you could substitute your keyboard and mouse, with your voice.

At the moment to be able to explore this, means I have to 'jailbreak' my ipad first, in other words, my device has been deliberately been dumbed down, in terms of it's capabilities, what on earth does Apple think it can achieve, with this extraordinary behaviour?
