Someone told me I was!Ian Thompson wrote:How about this question then - why would someone who claims to have "Native or bilingual proficiency" in English (see someone's LinkedIn profile) need to ask these questions?Carl Hibbard wrote:I have been asked harder questionsChristopher Kreuzer wrote:Somewhere along the line, this thread also became probably the largest (though not the longest-running) one on the forum. It has reached 140 pages, whereas the "Media comments on chess" one is 'only' 138 pages (but is probably one of the longest-running ones).

'Naturally, the priestesses simultaneously perform the acts which their song imposes on, or ascribes to, the celestial spirits'

Re: The English Language

How is "believing in yourself" different from "having self-confidence"?

What does "clumsy" mean in:
less advanced societies, whose internal structure is clumsy and rigid, conceive the life of a man as a succession of heterogeneous and well-defined phases, to each of which corresponds a more or less organised social class.

You're happy with the rest of that and not clumsy? Ok
