Worst Films
Have just sat through/endured "Goldfinger". Lasted two or so hours - felt like eight.
Apart from "Ultimate Ninja", has a worse film been made?

Re: Worst Films
The worst film I've seen is probably Date Movie. Gave up on it after about 30 minutes.

A couple of options, both with Will Smith in them
I am Legend - where a dog out acts him
After Earth - absolutely awful

One of the great films of all time, I thought. I have made a note to download and watch again.Brendan O'Gorman wrote:Last Year At Marienbad

Re: Worst Films
Whilst away at college in the late 1960s, our house (consisting of some eight or nine male students) decided a trip to the Palace Continental cinema might be in order where the staple fare was erotic films from the continent. Before people think that this was some porno-fuelled den of iniquity for students, I can assure everyone that the standards of the late sixties meant that the censor made sure that nothing even half remotely suggestive managed to make it to the big screen. One Swedish arthouse movie, for example, seemed mostly to consist of views of sawmills. The one film I remember for the worst film category was Sexy Susan Sins Again - a German costume drama film badly dubbed into English where the script neither matched what was happening on screen nor the lips of the actors. However it was part of a double bill with a rather better French film - this time with subtitles - which featured the Marchioness of Bath, Anna Gael.

One of the classic "worst of all time" films, which lives up to its billing. Robot Monster is anotherMike Truran wrote:Gosh - have just remembered Plan 9 from Outer Space.

Come on - hasn't anyone seen Eraserhead. It wipes everything else off the floor. Can we forgive David Lynch because he produced Mulholland Drive, Dune, Elephant Man and Twin Peaks. No actually we can't Eraserhead was detestable, obnoxious and a big screen sickie even for the comatose.

as am I. I would consider Mulholland Drive though. Very much a case of king’s clothes
However, the worst film ever made is obviously Saturn 3. Unless you happen to enjoy 90 minutes of Jimmy Savile pervving Farah Fawcett on a cheap set, that is.
The chess scene is pretty good though.
