Searching for Accommodation in London for 4 months.

Post by Charlie Storey » Mon Feb 04, 2013 11:39 am

Hi Guys,

Do you have a spare room available for a few months?

I am looking to move to London for at least 4 months starting February.

I am looking for a great room / apartment in exchange for cheap rent of room (£40 weekly including all bills) but you also get some good chess coaching and plenty of themed 5 minute Blitz games on your choice of openings with reviews of interesting games.

I will be looking for Chess Work throughout London (I am a Master and Ex England Chess Coach!) or Computer Forensic / Pen Testing work relating to my degree.

Feel free to pass this on to any interested persons looking to seriously take their chess game to the next level.

I would like pics of the accomm before travelling to London - I will also play for your London Chess Team (s) for assisting in this process.

Thanks

FM Charlie Storey.

£40 per week including bills? I would say about as much hope as Bob Hope
Still there's always a cardboard box underneath the Arches which might fit your budget

If you want central London you're looking at a minimum of triple that but likely more. If you go to the outskirts then you might be able to find somewhere at double that, but £40 all inc. I haven't seen since i was a student up north 15 years ago! If you want to be au pair then you might have to offer a bit more than the odd bit of tuition.
Good Luck though!
