"Will organisers continue to use the higher of FIDE or ECF for eligibility? Will they change the rating bands? More likely they'll carry on regardless and see how the land lies. Are you ready?"

I am making life easier for them - my FIDE and ECF ratings are now the same. Brian will now rush off and amend the ECF rating by one point...

We are more interested in that change in online blitz rating outlier. Not often seniors appear in that list!

I would question the statistical significance of any form of blitz, let alone online blitz!
