Rating of Rapidplay

The ECF rating system will rate games with 2 minutes initial time and 10 second increments as rapidplay. That's equivalent to 10 second a move buzzer chess with an initial time allowance and the opportunity to "add time" by moving quickly. For that matter 10 minutes initial time and 2 seconds a move would also qualify.

A. Rapid Chess
Each player must have more than 10 minutes, and less than 60 minutes, for all moves. This includes both the initial time control and any subsequent time controls or quickplay finish. When Fischer (cumulative) mode is used, the time available for each player is calculated on the assumption that the duration of the game is 60 moves.

I would imagine you could fit in 6 or 7 rounds in a 3 hour club night.
