I have another GOOD idea to help the grading system of the ECF.
It seems to be widely regarded that the grades are slowly declining, through no fault of the players themselves.
Back in the 80s fide had the innovative idea of giving a little boost to players ratings to prevent this decline, so why not do it for the ECF grades as well - a boost of +10 points to every player would be welcomed by all and within a year or two things would be right as rain.

If you did this, nothing at all would change.

The problem is that a 100 player is more undergraded than a 150, who in turn is more undergraded etc.

We do need a bonus point solution, but its not linear. The lower graded players need a bigger bonus than the higher graded ones.
