Does anyone know when ECF members will be sent a list of their results?

Re: 2010-2011 Grades?
It certainly won't be in June, because the deadline to get everything graded league-wise is the end of June. It could well be some time in early July, as it has been for the past however many years. That's if it happens at all this year, now that everyone will be able to see their results online anyway.Matthew Lunn wrote:Does anyone know when ECF members will be sent a list of their results?

The last few years I've received my results list on 23/6/08, 7/7/09 and 23/6/10, so sometime in the next few weeks I'd guess.

Re: 2010-2011 Grades?
Does anybody know if the 31st May cut-off applies to when an event starts, when it finishes or when the results are submitted to the graders?
I played in an end of season Surrey County individual event and played 3 games in May and 3 in June. I believe the event is still to be finished? I'm not so much bothered about my grade as I am wanting to find out whether I should file the games under 2010/2011 season or 2011/2012.
So
(a) all the games are 2010/2011 because the event started in that grading season
(b) all the games are 2011/2012 because the event finished in that grading season
(c) first three in 2010/2011 and last three in 2011/2012 because that's when they were played.
or
(d) something else for some other reason.
?

As I think you suspect, you need to get out more.

Jonathan - It could be any of those, at the whim of the organiser!Jonathan Bryant wrote:Does anybody know if the 31st May cut-off applies to when an event starts, when it finishes or when the results are submitted to the graders?

Apart from getting out more, you need to know that this year things might be held up for a few weeks - but we are working on sending out the printouts as soon as possible.Tristan Clayton wrote:The last few years I've received my results list on 23/6/08, 7/7/09 and 23/6/10, so sometime in the next few weeks I'd guess.

In my defence, a simple GMail search threw up these dates.Brendan O'Gorman wrote:Tristan,Tristan Clayton wrote:The last few years I've received my results list on 23/6/08, 7/7/09 and 23/6/10, so sometime in the next few weeks I'd guess.

ENG FIDE Ratings must be ECF Members
Do dates of games in say 4NCL count.
Im trying to work out roughly what my last 7 games were? Do they all count as induvidual or like FIDE?

Is this about the ECF 30 game rule? So you've played 23 games and you want to know which 7 will be used to make 30.Ben Purton wrote:Im trying to work out roughly what my last 7 games were? Do they all count as induvidual or like FIDE?
You may have to wait for the grading prints (delayed for unspecified reasons). Elsewhere it is suggested that this year marks a change from using the average from last year, to picking your last 7 (however defined)

I don't think any BCF Members got their results today. ECF Members might have done, though.William Metcalfe wrote:I got my results for this season today by email so i can check to make sure there are no mistakes.

To answer your question, no, I haven't received such an e-mail.
