Dez Rudge

It was announced on the Birmingham & District Chess League on the 29th October 2019, that Dez Rudge had died.
He passed away two weeks previously, after suffering a massive heart attack, at the young age of 55 years.
His funeral took place on Thursday 14th November at Robin Hood Crematorium, Solihull.
Dez was a dedicated member of Solihull Chess Club for over eight years.
He was a popular and well liked chess player.
There was an excellent tribute posted the 29th October 2019, on the Birmingham & District Chess League website, by Secretary of Solihull Chess Club, John Green.
