I am sorry to report that Kveta Eretova has died.
She passed away on 8th January, aged 94.
Kveta Eretova (nee Jenistova) was born on 21st October in Prague in the former Czechoslovakia, now Czech Republic.
She became a WIM in 1957 and then a WGM in 1986.
Kveta was the ten-time winner of the Czechoslovak Women's Chess Championship (1955,1960,1961,1962,1963,1964,1966,1975,1976 and 1986).
Kveta also competed in the qualification for the World Championships in the 1950s and 1960s.
