GM Miroslav Tosic

I am sorry to inform you that Miroslav Tosic has died.
He passed away on 24th November 2019, aged 59.
Miroslav was born on 15th June 1960 in the Serbian part of Yugoslavia.
He became an International Master in 1988 and then a Grandmaster in 1998. He also became champion of Yugoslavia in 1999 when he achieved a peak rating of 2525.
Miroslav was also formerly married to WGM Maria Borisovna Manakova.

There was a lengthy article in The Telegraph in the UK on 18th March 2007 about Miroslav Tosic and how he met his wife over a chessboard in a simul.
It's titled " I looked into his eyes and he made his move."

You know I have trouble with my links.
Not a euphemism.
Miroslav Tosic played in the same section of the European Championships in 2013 as Adams, Howell and Arkell.
