I am sorry to inform you that Dave Moore sadly passed away in hospital on Monday 20th December 2021, at the age of 75.
Dave was a member of Giro and Prescot and Knotty Ash chess clubs for over half a century.
He graced the boards in the Merseyside League and the Business House League during that period.
Dave was a stalwart for both teams and turned out regularly for the County team.
He was also part of the National Clubs winning team for PKA.
There is a tribute posted today on the Merseyside Chess Association website.
