I am sorry to inform you that Oliver Horrocks passed away peacefully on the 2nd February 2024 at the age of 93.
Oliver played for Alsager Chess Club for many years (since possibly the 1960s) and he represented Staffordshire in the era when there were two County Under 120 teams.
There will be a funeral service at 11.15am on Thursday 22nd February at St.Bertoline's Church, Barthomley, Crewe, CW2 5PE.
