Fantastic win yesterday by Irelands Pete Morriss (FIDE rating 2032) against a 2448 Russian GM (6 times Moscow champion – Evgeni Vasiukov ) in the 65+

that game had a lovely tactical finish..well worth a look

Really? 32.Nd6 Rh3 33.Nxb7 Rxg3 doesn't look trivial for white, and suddenly the third result may be coming into the picture.

Black still has very real drawing chances. R+N v R is a draw, and those two white pawns aren't exactly the easiest to hold.

I think I see Nunn's drawing plan: he wants to play ...Re4, swap the rooks off, and stick his king on f3. That ties down the knight to the defence of the g-pawn and the king to the defence of the knight (because the black e-pawn is too far advanced), and he then sends his b-pawn down the board to overload white's pieces.
