Yes, another great result. Was watching Vasiukov-Pritchett. Vasiukov's 2448 rating is pretty impressive for an 81 yr-old, reminding one of Smyslov and Korchnoi playing on into their 80s at GM level. Hope Craig, Keith and co. will still be going strong in the Seniors at 80+...

At some point during round 11 I simply ran out of gas, which I guess is a pity because I had my kind of position.

Seriously though, I think this junior k-factor 40 thing really has begun to slow down the prevalent rating deflation just in time, before the ripple hit the very top players, and it doesn't seem to have resulted in a plethora of crazily over-rated kids. One or 2 certainly, but that will self-correct.
