McKay's sacrifice seems to have given him a good game, but no doubt Arkell will turn it round in time.

Wonder if I get accused of heresy for admitting substantial doubt as to the health of blacks position It looks absolutely horrible and has for several moves. Maybe white will somehow run out bits to force a win with though.

If White can find the right moves, he will win. Which is bad news for supporters of Keith, but would still be a British win. Most lines seem to end up with White regaining one of the exchanges and being several pawns up as well. Some difficult lines to calculate, though...MartinCarpenter wrote:Wonder if I get accused of heresy for admitting substantial doubt as to the health of blacks position It looks absolutely horrible and has for several moves. I think 24 Ng6 is a forced draw if he wants it?

Keith very short of time. I would guess it is a draw now, though.
EDIT: Oops. Should have kept quiet.

Did Pritchett really miss a simple win with 26...Rxc6?

Pritchett is going to win anyway, another excellent result.

Seemingly. Maybe a rook move transmitted wrong? The way his opponent threw away a draw later is strange as well.NickFaulks wrote:Did Pritchett really miss a simple win with 26...Rxc6?

Re: World Senior Championships, November 2015
Fantastic start for Craig and Roddy; the latter's play is perhaps reminiscent of Lucerne 1982? Obviously I wish my boys all the best in Reykjavik but I think this competition is more interesting.
